Music Classes
These small group lessons are a great way to become familiar with a new musical instrument and at $15.00 per session they are approximately 40% less expensive than Private Lessons. Group classes are six-week sessions held on-site at Gill's Music in Antioch.
We are not offering group lessons at this time.

Class Descriptions

"Beginning Rock Guitar" (11-13 Yrs.) Thursdays 7:30PM-8:30PM
This is a beginning guitar class specifically designed for motivated kids who have their very first electric guitar and want to learn how to rock! The class will cover basic guitar chords and power rock 5th chords; and even some famous "rock-n-roll" riffs. Students need to bring their own electric guitar and small amp to class. The required lesson book will be available for purchase ($21.60) when you arrive at your first class session.

"Beginning Piano for Children" (7-11 Yrs.) Fridays 5:30PM-6:30PM
This is a beginning piano/keyboard class designed for children in 3rd - 5th grade. In addition to learning essential keyboard concepts such as playing posture and hand position, students will spend time learning how to read music and how music notes relate to the music staff. The required lesson books will be available for purchase ($12.00) when you arrive at your first class session.

 
"Piano - It's Never Too Late!" (Adults) Wednesdays 11:00AM-12:00PM
This is an "easy-does-it" beginning piano class designed for adults who have always wanted to learn how to play the piano. In this friendly small group atmosphere you'll become familiar with a keyboard and learn the fundamentals of music; including rhythm, music notation and theory. The required lesson books will be available for purchase ($32.31) when you arrive at your first class session.
